The Other Sister

Romance among the mentally challenged avoids emotional extortion with honest sentimentality

The Other Sister is said to be the most sincere, uregulated and honestly sentimental picture so far. In this uplifting and often bittersweet romantic comedy a 24 year old Carla Tate played by Juliette Lewis is a slightly mentally challenged young women who has successfully transcended many of her limitations. The only thing holding her back from her independent dreams and ambitions is her over protective mother, Elizabeth played by Diane Keaton.
